To rise in morning with a heart forlorn
With surety that failure waits for thee
Can try our patience, on this we'll agree.
A state that's known to all of woman born.
No man's immune to know this once or twice
The obstacles of life can't all be missed.
Yet even so, each day we must persist
For in the end the effort will suffice.
This gift of waking cannot be denied
As proof of Father's confidence in us.
To face with courage all that may betide
And all our failures past be laid aside.
Despair's a sin, not something to discuss
This gift called life shows triumph is implied.
