Suicide is Painless?

That suicide is painless I've been told,

It said so in a song I heard in youth.

Yet all should know that in the deepest Truth,

The pain it brings can never be consoled.

One thinks the coward's way is clean and neat,

That ending present troubles would be nice.

Yet for a moment take this good advice,

It only represents complete defeat.

If God has given life to you this day

You're meant to see His confidence that you

Can rise above the hell that you now feel.

Eventually all things in life decay,

Yet while they stand, success you must pursue.

Lose not tomorrows for today's ordeal.
