Resolution  

To tell the truth, the resolution's clear, 

Not difficult or secret if we look, 

For history has shown in varied books 

The ways to betterment are not austere. 

To rise above this cage of mortal clay 

All that is necessary is desire. 

For higher principles we must aspire 

Avoiding that which makes our souls decay.  

Humanity is ours, do not betray 

The song within our souls that does require 

Awakening of hearts to hear the plight 

Of those we see, this labor start today. 

Don't hesitate, our souls will soon retire 

And Godliness within is pure delight.
