Mathematical Virtue

Add Justice to the world, it's lack destroys.

Know surely God himself demands concern

That it be served, an unjust world lacks poise.

Subtract not Prudence from your lives and learn

That wisdom wielded glorifies this life

And guides the heart in yearning to discern.

Then multiply your Fortitude 'gainst strife.

Man's weakness here can bring the world to war.

When cowards rule then evil will be rife.

Divide your heart in Temperance to be sure

To steer the soul from darkness, always nigh.

Excessiveness is something to deplore.

In life you must keep aspirations high

Then rightness will be then in good supply.
